Believed to be of German or other European origin, size approx. 14″ x 6 1/4″ x 5 3/4″, thick walls and heavy weight, the metal had a light orange coloration which we hand polished to find the original color to be that or metal or silver, has beautiful ornate decorative features and each side depicts a different image, the angel/cherub handles is what we find on similar German made boat shaped bowls, very elegant, has a small metal fracture on one foot (see photo), otherwise an exceptional decorative conversation piece.
